WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY I Have Three Questions For You. These Are Probably The Most Important Questions You Will Ever Answer. Your Future Depends On Whether Or Not You Can Answer These Questions. 1. Can You Be Good Enough To Get To Heaven? 2. Can You Work Hard Enough To Get To Heaven? 3. Does God Decide If You Go To Heaven? THE ANSWER TO ALL THESE QUESTIONS IS ( NO ). When I Was Young and did not know what I needed to know. I thought  I had to be good and work really hard all my life to make it to Heaven. I thought  that after I died I would stand before God and He would look at my life and judge whether I had been good enough and worked hard enough to be allowed into Heaven. If you are a person who believes this or something like this, you have been believing a lie. You DO NOT have eternal life in Heaven guaranteed to you. In fact, it's quite the opposite. You have eternal death in hell in agony and suffering. This is often called the second death and you do not want to be, or you do not want any of your loved ones in this situation. IF THE PREVIOUS STATEMENTS ARE TRUE: 1. Then how do I get to Heaven if I can't work my way there, or be good enough to get there? A. In the book of Romans 4:5 it clearly tells us... That we are saved by Faith & Trusting, not works. B. In the book of Ephesians 2:8, it tells us... For it is by Grace you've been saved, not works. C. So, according to God's word, we can't work hard enough or be good enough to get to Heaven. 2. If God does not make the decision to let me in to Heaven, who does ? A. The decision to spend eternity in Heaven is made completely and totally by you. B. In the book of Acts 16:31, it clearly says... Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. C. In the book of John 3:16 it clearly says... For God so loved the world that he gave His only son ( Jesus Christ ) that whoever believes in Him ( Jesus ) shall have eternal life. D. In the book of John 14:6 it clearly says... No one comes to the father except through me. ( Jesus ) E. In the book of Acts 4: 10-12 it clearly says... There is no other name under Heaven by which you can be saved. ( The Name is Jesus ) 3. Why does salvaion have to come through Jesus Christ? A. In the book of Romans it says... For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. ( We have all sinned. you have, I have, We all have sinned. Whether we admit it or not, we are sinners ) B. Also in the book of Romans 6:23 it clearly tells us... that God says the penalty for sin is death. ( Yes, we all deserve death for our sins ). C. In the book of Luke 2: 10-11, it says... Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you. He is Christ the Lord. 4. God sent His Son Jesus Christ to be the redeemer of the world. When Jesus died on that cross, God declared your sin debt paid in full.( Yes, Jesus paid your sin debt ).( Think about this, you owe an electric bill every month, but if someone else pays it for you, your debt is paid and you don't owe for it ). Well, that's what Jesus did for you on that cross 2000 years ago. When He died, He paid for all your past, present and future sins. 5. Salvation is like money in the bank. While it is in the bank it does you no good until you take it out and spend it on something. Salvation is the same way . Just because Jesus died for you, does not mean you have salvation. You don't have salvation until you ask for salvation. 6. Have you trusted Jesus Christ as your Savior? If you haven't, you can do it right now. Just pray this prayer. Heavenly Father, I confess that I'm a sinner and I know the penality for sin is death. I also know that Jesus died on the cross that day for me and paid my sin debt. Forgive me Father of my sins. Jesus come into my heart now and save me forever. Amen ( It truly is that simple. Do it today ).
